A&E is doing a series taken as a prequel series to the movie "Psycho" in which they mention they want to not just cover the lunatic and his mother,but also get the surrounding area involved. It is possible... as I recall, in the original film, it was mentioned during the wrap up investigators should dredge the swamp to find the rest of the missing women. No idea how it went in the Robert Bloch novel, though...
