A&E is doing a series taken as a prequel series to the movie "Psycho" in which they mention they want to not just cover the lunatic and his mother,but also get the surrounding area involved. Now if i remember correctly part of the surrounding area of the house was a swamp,or bog. Maybe we'll get lucky on this one

It is possible... as I recall, in the original film, it was mentioned during the wrap up investigators should dredge the swamp to find the rest of the missing women. No idea how it went in the Robert Bloch novel, though...

As I recall, in the original novel, Norman has a nightmare in which his mother arises from the quicksand and tells him to do something.
