I am not quite sure what you are asking about. I will assume your intent was to ask about the locations used. Studio 588 uses a fifty acre plot of mixed forest. About half the forest in mixed hardwoods and about half in pine. This is located near the southern boundary of the Ozarks in Arkansas. I do not seek other locations. Using something at another location is a very remote possibility but not impossible.

MPV has literally traveled the globe in terms of locations. Everything from Asian rice paddies to Canadian boggy meadows to the Desert Southwest to Mississippi River riverbanks. There is mud and quicksand just about anywhere water and land intersect. It's all about knowledge and effort and expense - but mostly effort.

Camp MPV is our first fixed location. The geology is special. To get specific about that would narrow the possible locations quite a bit, so I won't get into that. The vegetation is widely varied, including samples of just about every tree found in North America. It's nice that way.
