That looks wonderful. The cell phone camera gives it a "Hammer Horror" look. What part of the world is this located in? 8-)
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

(Sigh)

Mmmmmmm...

(longing look)

I especially like the look of the top picture...the peat pond...you've got some green in it!

We're mighty brown here yet. Had a nice warm day though. It's melting...it's melting!

I'd bring my...

Please excuse the poor quality of the pictures, these were taken with my old cell phone.

So, when you don't hear from me anymore in march you will know what had happend... :o

I only recently got a cell phone.

I have a weird paranoia about a wild animal seeing my stuff and deciding to line its nest or decorate its den with my car keys, so I hate to leave anything where I can't get at it easy anyway. I've never actually had a deer decide that it needs a new handbag and make off with mine, but hey, mental quirks are mental quirks and I gotta know exactly where my stuff is when I sink. And the closer to me I can keep my stuff, the better.

The cell won't be in the mud but it'll be close enough.
