Good point, i don't take my phone with me during the serious sinking, but in that case perhaps.

So, when you don't hear from me anymore in march you will know what had happend...

I only recently got a cell phone.

I have a weird paranoia about a wild animal seeing my stuff and deciding to line its nest or decorate its den with my car keys, so I hate to leave anything where I can't get at it easy anyway. I've never actually had a deer decide that it needs a new handbag and make off with mine, but hey, mental quirks are mental quirks and I gotta know exactly where my stuff is when I sink. And the closer to me I can keep my stuff, the better.

The cell won't be in the mud but it'll be close enough.
