I got the home premium 64 bit package and I'm happy with it. Unless you're using your computer as a home office you shouldn't need the more expensive version.

I don't have any other games that I can comment about, but I can report that the XP era "Sid Meier's Pirates!" does run decently under 7 Home.

Unfortunately, one of the most demanded features (actual XP compatibility) only comes with the most expensive version. Go figure. . .

Guess it's duel boot or pro for you then...actually you wouldn't need a 2nd HDD, you could just buy one, say in the 2Tb range, and partition it in half, giving you a Tb for each OS.

And let me guess, some of the games to be run happen to not be programmed well enough to actually run under Home version's lesser grade XP emulation?
