Atlas Shrugged Part 1

Postby QuicksandMania » Fri Apr 15, 2011 6:29 am

For anyone who cares, a film version of Atlas Shrugged Part 1 finally hits movie complexes more than 50 years after the novel's publication:

http://www.atlasshruggedpart1.com/

The site lists locations playing the movie.

Evidently word has still not reached everyone who might have interest so please share with anyone who might.

I have no interest in "public master debating" of the novel's controversial philosophy here but wanted to spread the word about the film.

Thanks! There is actually one theater (part of a mall megaplex) that is playing this in my area. So far I have seen one review that panned it, and one that said it is a really good film and faithful to the book at the same time.

And if there ever was a book that needed to be edited down to a screenplay, this is one.

BTW, I ran across a graphic novel edition of "Anthem" at Borders the other day. It works.

I saw it Saturday night and enjoyed it considerably. I think all the producers here should go see it. They can refer to it the next time a "gimme" poster makes an appearance here.
