Dead at the age of 81.

There aren't too many bits of news that makes my mom stand still in shock for even a moment these days. This news was one of those moments for her.

We always went to see the Christmas lights at his house. I regularly drive over the bridge where he nearly got killed (again) in 1999. George was one of several town drunks that everybody loved.

He stopped loving her today...
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

George Jones is dead. Justin Bieber, Kesha, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and rap music are still alive. There is no fucking justice in this world.
