Daz3D

Postby Weapon X » Sun May 18, 2014 2:10 am

I've just got my hands on DAZ studio 4.6, and am trying my hand at rendering some models. I'm not sure which thread this should be in, but since this pertains to the DAZ program itself, I'll post it off-topic. Does anyone remember a DAZ3D add on (about 10 years ago) called "Victoria's Quicksand Peril Poses"? I can no longer find a trace of it anywhere online, and am hoping someone might have info on it. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Yes, I remember that pose set. And you're right, it disappeared not long after. I never did buy the set because the poses were very basic and nothing I could not create myself. Since I focus mostly on animations, I'm creating poses all the time. The poses were a scenario where of somebody running and steps into the pit. She leans forward as she sinks and then leans back and reaches out with her hands, both forward and up. I think it also had one of only the hand above the surface.

You're probably better off making you own poses for every QS scenario is unique and so should the poses.

Good luck,

I never saw that pose set, but if you're getting started, try looking for partial poses. Should be lots of free ones out there, plus some great commercial sets. They will really help a lot in getting the body close to what you want. Good luck with your rendering!
