A lot of the Emanuelle films did have alternate titles. In fact, some of them weren't even Emanuelle films and were marketed as Emanuelle films in the U.S. just because they starred Laura Gemser (ex: Love Cult, which was released in English speaking countries as Divine Emanuelle). BTW, I also remember Joe Bob Briggs stating that the reason Laura Gemser's films only had one "M" in Emanuelle was so they couldn't be sued for copyright infringement by the company who made the "official" Emmanuelle (two Ms) films with Sylvia Kristel. Laura Gemser actually had a bit part in one of the official "Emmanuelle" films (Emmanuelle 2) as a masseuse. Brinke Stevens also had a bit part in one of the official films (Emmanuelle 4). Pity that Brinke wasn't in one of Laura Gemser's films.

Also, any of the "hardcore" scenes that were added to the Emanuelle films were supposedly not part of the original films and were added by distributors. Supposedly, Laura Gemser never did hardcore.
