So, after posting an article that had parts right out of science fiction fantasy (anything to capture readers' attention and imagination), the author made corrections to remove the fiction stuff before I had a chance to read the insanity that was the source of all the commotion. Now the responses make sense. :)

It sounds like the implications in the original version of the article would make a good sci-fi disaster movie, where the main character(s) have to find a way to prevent the gas from going nuclear and blowing California into space.

Here's the real question:

If you were to make a He-3 reactor, and it exploded, would it be a regular boom or a high-pitched squeaky-sounding explosion? ;-)

I propose the name "Mickey Bomb" for such. Or "Minnie Bomb" if its really small.
