Good camera work though, getting shots of whites that close. No one seemed to get killed for all the shows this past week. Not for lack of trying... the dumbass who last year tried a man-powered cutout outline to lure whites, this year thought rigging himself on a harness and hanging off the transom of boat , in attempt to clip-on a GoPro cam to a white's dorsal . I had visions of the silly fucker getting snapped in half, or the cam cuts away to screams and the only thing left is a severed line.

You joke but I've had estimates done for having a built-in tank put in the basement. 1,000 is semi-affordable. Wouldn't quite hold a mako but a couple of the smaller species like the Nurse or Bamboo would do great in there.

Would beat tv some evenings and look cool with the lights down
Maybe some Blue's would fit, they not to terribly big, and they are a 'real' shark. Good looking too

Re: Shark knows it's Shark Week...
The general rule of thumb for aquarium size with sharks is tank length = 5x critter length and tank width = 1.5x critter length. So for a 3ft Nurse shark you're talking a 15 ft long by 6 ft wide by 2 ft deep aquarium. Right around a thousand gallons when you do the math. I'd need Bill Gates money to build a tank big enoug for a Blue lol.
