My Other Hobby

Was going through some old pics on my harddrive and thought I'd share a few pics of my Piranha Tank. When I bought these guys they were roughly the size of dimes. It's now two years later and the biggest one's pushing 8". Enjoy! 8-)
The old 29 gallon I started off with was good for about 6 months. This pic was taken right before I moved and bought my 120 gallon. They're roughly 5"-6" here.

Once I upgraded tanks and gave them more space they grew like crazy. I'm pretty sure these pics were taken roughly a year after the one above.

Here's a really good pic of my biggest guy (or gal maybe, no way to determine sex unless they lay eggs). Roughtly 8" in length now, maybe a little less here. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Big Hungry Joe.

I don't know but if I were to hazzard a guess what Mynock feeds the little devils it would be.... :shock:

LOL nah I'd never do that. People meat (any red meat for that matter) is actually bad for them. They get 1 tilapia fillet (from the grocery store) a week. Open the top up, plunk it in there and watch the fun. 8-)

CSI covered that in an S1 episode; it gives them high cholesterol :P
