I had to watch 1:00-1:09 about 8 times before I figured out what's messing with the perspective--the thrust vectoring flaps on the back end are actually WORKING, and changing the profile/position of the engine nozzle as it throttles up and down and maneuvers.

It's posts like this I wish I could give kudos or "likes". Ep7 teaser still looks like fun if you don't pick it apart :) ...although I don't know what to think about the Astromech/bowling ball hybrid :?

I just hope its better than Jurassic Park lll.

Also, if you read any of the extended universe or comics/graphic novels, that light saber has been used by the Sith before. And there are way more outrageous ones than that one. Still not quite understanding the hate on it.

This movie supposedly takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi. I would hope that ship would get some considerable upgrades.

If they're that good at DNA manipulation then screw the park, shrink them down and sell them for pets. I want a Pot Belly Triceratops.

Because, it looks RETARDED
And just another gimmick to sell toys -- took what, a month? For the 'Rebels' inquisitor spin-o-matic blade for unskilled retards to be marketed as a toy?? I said a year ago, that unless they portrayed the Empire as anything but competent and above, this thing would be just fluffy disney bullshit. Guess WHAT. Stormtroopers can't hit a wall, and the 'heroes' haven't been touched. Boy, HOW DID WE EVER WIN?? Almost makes you think the writers employed are a collection of empty-headed fucking morons without a clue how drama works...

Every goddamned time some imbecilic super-genius-in-their-own mind tries to 're-image' something, it's a colossal failure. And if the purpose of this coming series is just to make money, thats fine. They just wont be getting mine

Last night a mega-nerd was interviewed on the radio about the SWVII trailer. "The detector dish on top of the Millenium Falcom is a different shape ... cool." I instantly assumed that he looks like the Simpsons' Comic Book Guy.
In order to make an apple pie from scratch you first have to create the universe.

^^In Return of the Jedi the dish gets snapped off while they're attacking the Death Star (whoopsies low bridge) so even the super nerds can't really argue with that change.
The international trailer is up. Seems kind of rough but oh who's that at 1:11 OH FUCK YEA.

Fan-made? Did anyone actually see the trailer in theater? There was suggestion that there was more footage than on the net trailer

My bad. People who make fake trailers should be injected with herpes.
Nope, haven't seen it in theaters. Is it attached to anything good? I'm a fan but not enough of one to pay for a ticket to a movie I don't like just to see a trailer lol.

Just give me a Protoceratops Andrewsi. They're only sheep-sized anyway, and no horns to deal with. The beak can give a nasty bite, though.

I also want a Dimetrodon. Not technically a dinosaur- sort of an obsolete lizard-mammal hybrid- but they were predators, and the sail is just too cool. Only about eleven feet long and 500 pounds- very manageable. ;)

"Getting in close" is NOT good. Lightsaber fights tend to be more like Japanese duels rather than Western style hack-and-slash where you're trying to chop into your opponent. With a Katana or similar weapon, the drill goes that there are three rings around both you and your opponent. The objective is to fight from the outer ring as much as possible while trying to force your opponent back into the inner ring. The inner ring is the most dangerous both to defend from and attack from. That weird double-spike on that lightsaber may just be a plain old crossguard. Since a lightsaber beam doesn't pass through another lightsaber beam, those would block an opponent from simply sliding their blade down yours and taking your hand. Personally, I would be more worried about hitting myself when blocking. I would angle them 15 or 20 degrees upward toward the blade. There is a technique to use a blade with a generous cross guard to disarm your opponent by levering their blade, but I've never learned it. And, it requires getting in very close.
