JAL Flight 123

The miracle is, that the drivers kept the damn thing in the air for 32 minutes, an incredible feat of aviation. They just couldn't pull off a forced landing sadly

The JAL accident because the rear bulkhead blew out and took the rudder and elevator controls with it? How they kept the aeroplane in the air in semi-controlled flight will always be a mystery to me, the world and anybody who isn't Pete Conrad. The crew got so close to recovering an LOCV; they should be honoured.
The next time I do a Nigel Mansell- Whining about fuck-all, I'll remember that.
