Star Wars; Rogue One- **SPOILERS**

Chopper, apparently is rolling around the hangar for about 1/4 of a second In the scene where the rebel tech is running across the hangar. The Ghost, is seen in the battle, with the distinctive engine-configuration in her ass clearly visible. And if you listen to the back chat, there's a bit with the loudspeaker asking for "General Syndulla, report to ...." The assumption is that that's Hera. Although it could be her father I suppose. But I'd bet more on Hera

The story is, those aren't AT-ATs, but AT-ACTs- cargo transports, not combat machines. Armed, and armor good enough to handle infantry weapons, but not walking tanks like in ESB.

My question is why the speeders in 'Empire" couldn't affect the AT-ATs,

("That battle armor is too strong for blasters-- We'll have to go in with harpoons and tow-cables. Go for the legs-- it's our only shot!)

-and yet the X-wings had no problems taking them down- even splitting one in half!


Is it merely just a case of much better weaponry on the X-wings than the speeders?
