RIP Yahoo Messenger. Any alternatives?

No political or religious topics please. Otherwise, anything goes, as long as we treat each other with respect.

I understand. I wouldn't trust Facebook with the real name and birth date of my deceased pet rat.

I do very little chat these days. But as a veteran of the fetish world since 2001 with several layers of quicksand dried permanently on my skin and a drawer full of muddy artwork and videos, whatever you come up with, I would advise that you be able to set it up with an independent email address that does not include your real name or info.

If something looks promising, start to set it up, but if you can't leave it blank or lie your way through any real info it claims it needs to have, stop and move on.

Your family and your workplace should never have a clue this exists nor be likely to accidentally bump into it.

Then you should be well off.
