I have to admit that Hawai'i doesn't suck.
And speaking of sucking: I live in Palolo Valley. Palolo roughly translates as 'crazy clay'. Up at the mauka — inland — end of the valley is Ka'au Crater. This is a cinder cone similar to Diamond Head, roughly equal in size to Punchbowl. It is part of a major water shed for the City of Honolulu and the entire interior of the crater is rumored to be one vast, treacherous quicksand swamp! All within hiking distance from my house.
