Almost all of the PC games on the market are overpriced. I was looking forward to the "Portal" release, until I saw that it was also sitting at $60. I'm just not willing to fork over that much cash to play a game.

So I'll just wait for a year or two for games like Portal and DNF to hit the bargain bins. Then I'll pick 'em up for $15!

I wouldn't say so.
PC games are cheaper than console games. Portal 2 was £25 on Steam (that's hardly a lot) whereas the PS3 version was £32-40. Call of Duty and all that cack sell for £50 new, regardless of the system! Duke was £30 but you do get 10 hours play out of that, plus whatever for the multiplayer.

There are titles like DNF and Portal 2 that yeah, I wasn't going to wait for a sale because I knew the internet would spoil both.

Yeah that is true that it's better to wait till the price goes down. Always. But some games are worth the $60. It just depends on user taste but over production quality.

Portal 2 looks amazing and just an overall amazing game. Strong contender for Game of the year. And has an excellent co-op component as well. And an interesting and unique story.

Duke Nukem Forever looks like a 15 year old game. It's stale. And just not all quite there. Multiplayer is laggy. They didn't even try.
