Despite the recent questionable name choices for other Navy ships, I don't have any problems with the names they've selected for the new carriers. The fact that CVN-80 is still available to take the name is encouraging, especially since carriers are frequently named after historical ships.
The US Navy just wouldn't be the same without an Enterprise.
