Wrong.

In American football (as in "soccer" and many other team sports) the secret to winning is makng sure the other side scores fewer points than you do. This is not the same thing.

This is true but I still bet the final score is the only meaningful statistic in the winning locker room. ;)
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

I've gone back and forth on who'll win for the last couple of weeks. I want the 49ers to win, but I think there's too much emotional momentum coming from Ray Lewis and the Ravens and I have this gut feeling Lewis is going to end his career with a second ring.

I think the Ravens will do it simply because they are a little better and (this is the big thing) vastly more experienced at the big game situations. San Francisco will be back.

I'm a Redskins fan here in the UK, so I think I'll root for the 49ers, as they're an NFC team. I usually go for the NFC teams ( Unless, of course it's the Cowboys ! ) but I hope it's a close, exciting game whoever wins. :D

*high fives fellow Redskins fan* Hopefully RGIII recovers quickly and we'll be able to get to the Super Bowl next year.

Yes indeed ! If he hadn't got injured in the wild card game the redskins might have gone further, but as you say, maybe next season . . .HTTR ! :D
