They're doing an amazing job of controlling the rate of roll. As of right now I'd say it's listing about 45 degrees instead of the 80ish they started with. thought by now physics would've taken over and it would've suddenly rolled upright.

Yes , its working so far. I wonder how much ballast they have in those tanks and the lower decks. As long as the water is contained and doesnt have a lot of free surface, it should help a lot stabilizing things.

Something really crazy I just noticed--when the camera switches to the starboard side view, look about a quarter/third of the length back from the bow where the orangish spotlight is shining. Holy door ding Batman....

This thing must be loaded with water still, the list looks to be down to about maybe 10 degrees starboard but the water level is still way up over the foredeck. Yeah thats quite the ding there comes from laying on the rocks for months I bet

I don't think it's actually floating yet, from what I read the plan was to get it level and stable while it was still resting on the bottom, then do some repairs/attaché the starboard flotation cells, THEN refloat it and tow it away.
Really interesting how they rigged this, they actually wrapped the cables around underneath, attached them up top to the port side superstructure and when the cranes pulled the ship itself acted as the block in a block and tackle.
