Debunking help needed- JFK assassination

I agree with Nessie about Oswald. While we're on the subject, how about Jack Ruby? Persons who knew him scoff at the idea that he could've been involved in a conspiracy of any kind. No one would've wanted him in a conspiracy because it was well known that he talked too much. He wasn't a gangster. He was a gangster wannabe. Real gangsters merely tolerated him, and they certainly didn't let him in on what they were doing because they knew he'd blab it to everyone.

A second point was that Ruby loved President Kennedy. He even beat up patrons at his club who dared make jokes about him. Again, this makes him a very unlikely candidate for being involved in a conspiracy to kill JFK.

As for Ruby shooting Oswald, don't forget there was a major delay in the time Oswald was supposed to be transported from Dallas Police headquarters to the county jail until he was actually taken to the underground parking garage to be moved. When Oswald was scheduled to be moved, Ruby was still at home in bed. He only went to downtown Dallas because he needed to wire money to one of the dancers at his club so she could pay her rent.

While he was downtown, Ruby wandered over to police headquarters, as he had done several times since the assassination two days before. He got into the underground parking garage because the officers on duty all knew him and thought he was harmless.

All the evidence appears to support Ruby's claim he was acting on the spur of the moment when he drew his gun and shot Oswald. If had been planning to shoot Oswald when he went downtown, why would he leave his two dogs in his car? That doesn't make any sense.

Let's look at it another way. If someone wanted Oswald silenced, don't you think there would be many other ways of doing it, including ways which were more subtle and more effective? The idea Ruby was sent to silence Oswald makes no sense at all.

It takes a lot more faith to believe Ruby was in on a conspiracy than it does to believe he was a grieving, hot-tempered man who wasn't thinking as he acted on the spur of the moment.

That's my two cents worth on the subject.

Something that might be of interest.....check out 11/22/63 by Stephen King if you haven't read it yet. I almost skipped over it because it's not his usual faire but I'm glad I didn't. Not much historical value but a really entertaining read. Time traveling romance/adventure that bumps into a few characters from the story "It" not long after the events of that novel took place and of course finds the main character trying to change certain events that occurred on that day.
