RIP Richard.

Saw SHAFT as a kid when it came out, loves the Issac Hayes song, but I realize that I cannot remember the story. Just a few scenes come to me. I need to watch it again.

Saw this title on a Youtube video. Metal fans will likely recognize him. Some sort of medical condition he was suffering. Don't know what yet, though.

"STEVE RILEY OF W.A.S.P. AND L.A GUNS HAS PASSED AWAY AT 67"

That is sad news. :( I really enjoyed his character Bull Shannon on Night Court. I was hoping he would make a cameo appearance on the new Night Court. :(

One memorable episode that I enjoyed watching was "Author Author", where Bull tried entering a children's book contest:

Another memorable episode that I enjoyed watching was "Death Of A Bailiff", where Bull was stuck by lightning that briefly stopped his heart, and thought that he had heard God tell him to give everything he owns to the poor:

RIP, Richard Moll. :(

Night Court was a really good show, as evidenced by its recent reincarnation. Bull was a lovable giant. Richard is described as a deep-voiced actor, but I remember Bull’s voice occasionally going to the high side in some scenes. RIP.

I just saw that.

Matthew Perry, who rose to fame on the sitcom, in which he portrayed Chandler Bing for 10 seasons, was found dead at his Los Angeles home on Saturday. He was 54.

"We are devastated by the passing of our dear friend Matthew Perry," Warner Bros. Television, which produced Friends, said in a statement obtained by Yahoo Entertainment. "Matthew was an incredibly gifted actor. ... The impact of his comedic genius was felt around the world, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of so many.

"This is a heartbreaking day, and we send our love to his family, his loved ones. and all of his devoted fans."

According to the Los Angeles Times, Perry apparently drowned in his hot tub. Authorities arrived to the actor's home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood at 4 p.m., the Times reported, where he was discovered unresponsive. Foul play is not suspected. The investigation is ongoing, and no cause of death has been released.

Chandler was the funny character on the show, and Matthew Perry apparently played himself, in effect, to bring the character to life. I was a little too old at the time to truly relate to Friends, but my kids loved it, and it was obviously a good sitcom. Another actor gone too young, and a shame after being clean finally at his stage of life.
