Yeah, he made the local headlines since he's kind of known as a local nut job in the Nashville area. I'd like to point out that he's not from around here. Apparently he just feels holier living in the buckle on the Bible belt. Most of the clips that show the encounter only show the last moments of it and not the extended harassing that he was giving Buzz. It's not like Buzz didn't try to get the guy to leave him alone for several minutes. He was big, aggressive, and threatening so when he touched Buzz, he got touched back. Hard.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

Reality shows have very little to do with reality.......which would be that a trip to mars would be a year of mostly mind numbing boredom in a little tin can, with the constant threat of something malfunctioning and killing you. Try to imagine taking everything you need to survive, food, water, clothing, toiletries, bedding, etc, cramming it into your bedroom, and then locking yourself in there with 3 or 4 of your friends and not coming out for a year. At the end of six months you get a week in which you're allowed to make maybe a dozen 3 hour excursions from your room. Once that week is up lock your door again and spend another 6 months inside. Welcome to modern space travel.

You are correct, but in this case, the reality show is going to be filmed here on Earth, and will make the money used to send those "voted off the planet" to Mars. I think they are going to film in some remote arctic place, in capsules, to simulate what it will be like on Mars.
