Well, the thing with Sam, they kinda had too; otherwise he'd be branded a complete fucking idiot who blew getting some what might be crucial information. This version of the Hound is much better; it's not too terribly different from what we've already seen, he never was a bad guy, just in a shitty situation. Now, he seems much more relaxed with himself, still as much a badass as ever, but not a grinding pain in the ass all the time
