Chain Mail Bikini

Some of you may know that I'm just a tad obsessed here.

But someone sent me this.

Chainmail isn't that hard to make (at least the costume variety)- just time consuming. Sort of like knitting, but with two pairs of needle-nose pliers instead of knitting needles. So make a chainmail bikini and skirt for your lady today!

You mean the joints in the rings? For the easy costume type stuff, yeah. Also, under pressure (like from a sword or spear point) the rings will spread. :(
"Real" chainmail has the joints of the rings riveted or soldered.

But the rings themselves don't seem to pinch. It pretty much flows like water.

Well, it was definitely https in the link that was sent to me. I checked three times. And what is the difference anyway?

And why is it that when I edit my link supra to http, it STILL comes up as unavailable?

There's something about all this I don't get. Well, there's an awful lot about this I don't get, actually...
