Why do old mom and pop diners 40 years old have the best grub?

THE PLACE to visit for breakfast if ever visit the Sault Only quirk is cash, (it still feels like 1969) and not big inside. But for a good old style breakfast, its hard to beat. Haven't hit the dinner menu in a while, but their chicken is awesome

It's amazing. Best steak I ever had was at the Scotia Diner. (The old one, before they lost their lease and moved to the current "fancy" location.) Food is just as good at the current location. Another excellent place is Oliver's Cafe on Route 50. That one is still just a tiny hole-in-the-wall sort of place, but the food and service are out of this world. The Savona Diner in Savona, NY (on I-86 west of Corning) is another gem. Traditional diner layout- counter with stools and a few tables. Great food at great prices, and their desserts are to die for.

The statistical answer would be that people who know what they are doing are present in every population in probably about the same ratio to those who don't, and that this probably stays about the same as time passes. However, those who do not know what they are doing tend to disappear over time. In the case of starting a business, "disappear" means the business fails. Thus, a business run by the same people over a long period of time is one of those that survived.

The little places always have not only good but cheap food. I can go to my favorite little hole-in-the-wall place up the road and leave full for less than $10 (including tip).

And sit at the counter, read the paper with coffee while waiting; cooked fresh and hot. McMuff dont even come close

Had the Ruben and Fries for dinner, wasn't hungry enough for some of the dinner plates They don't skimp on anything , 16 bucks including coffee with a couple refills. Nice
