My own "scary movie"

Postby Scarol » Sun Oct 04, 2009 12:10 pm

Hi people,

I'm using a game calling: The movies Stunt And Effects to make movies.
I'm busy with a movie Scared In The Night, it's a thriller.
The story is about a Island, Silent Island and there are some people surviving in a pub.
If you have interrest just check:

I hope that my english subtitles are very well to read :D

Oh yes, comments are welcome on this topic.
For those, happy watching!

But I guess most of us have allready figured that out.

Pretty impressive! I've always been curious about that "The Movies" game and wondered what sort of stuff it could produce. Good animated thrillers, is the answer!

Coming home from an extra-long and tiring day at work, the entire series of "Scared In The Night" on a mostly dead brain was...

Surreal.

It was like going to sleep and dreaming without ever going to bed.

I'm not completely sure what it was but it was fun. And being the kind of forum this is...and considering the build on the female characters...my mind went to the obvious.

If "themoviegame.com" can make werewolves, ghosts and pointy-eared growling vampire-zombies, not to mention, realistic body movements...quicksand scenes oughta be something it could handle...

I betcha that eventually, somebody on this forum checks that out.

P.S. Is this what you are using?

Hi Nessie,

Yes, I used that program.
One of my fantasy's were always to make my own thriller movie, first I tried to make a Scared In The Night game via Power Point.
But I ended with no ideas after a few slides, so I decided to make a movie with The Movies.
And yes, I'm agree it's a surreal movie.
The movie is going about a man (Brad) that's ashores on a horror Island, he finds shelter in a pub and from that moment strange things happens.
I wish I coul make a quicksand scene with The Movies (maybe I can download a set from somewhere) with the female, but I can't.
I'm working on Part 5 that will come soon.

May I suggest the following as a possibility: While I am not familiar with the software you are using, I wonder if it might be feasible to use it to create a set-up for a quicksand scene, and then edit that together with a scene shot with live actresses. The live work could be done by myself or any of the video producers here. This might work especially well if the animated character (characters) can be chosen or altered so as to resemble one or more of the actresses who might do the live portion. The result would be a video that would start out as an animation and then change to live acting. Alternatively, but more difficult to implement well, wuold be a video that alternated back and forth between animation and live acting.

I know nothing about that software (but admit that I wished I could try it)...so, I haven't got a clue if it can do quicksand really -- but I do look forward to Part 5!

Oh, my, Daniel certainly didn't make it very far through this movie! I say, though, he got what he deserved.

Graveyard...a missing skeleton...bad dreams...pointy-eared vampire guy...weird weather and weird house...and finally, the green-faced dead dude...!!!

Living on this island would be VERY bizarre.
