Looks like the fantastic plastic folks have done it again. Lots of shells inside but not too wide like a Beta C or too long like some of the crazy 40 and 50 round box mags. Initial impression--do want.

I wouldn't want to have to run far with all that but talk about makin' it rain. Great for zombies, ISIS, or upsetting Mayor Bloomberg.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

It has the distinction of being able to make a gun control nut's head explode without ever having to fire a shot.

I have a double mag setup with their Maglink coupler, never seemed that heavy to me. Then again I've never tried to run 5 miles with it either....

I ran several miles with a hundred rounds of .22LR once just to see what that was like. All I can say is that was bad enough. Whenever I see all these rigs with fantastic amounts of ammo it causes me to imagine running away or even marching with all that. I can see why weapons get dropped in favor of lightening for flight. It would be hellacious good fun at the range but unless I'm going to war with the next door neighbors I'll have to opt out.

You gotta adopt WW II Rifle Squad organization
You had your BAR guy, and then the next 2 M-1 riflemen were ammo mules...

I think that was the original intent of the drums--turns your M4/16 into a support weapon. Also Zombies. I'm thinking fluorescent green spray paint and a big vinyl biohazard decal on the front of it.

Run? This isn't the 20th Century, you know. I'm thinking ATV mounted Cavalry.

I'm a big "what if" guy. I'm not the fastest but I'll never be the slowest. That's good enough.
