Anyone read about the Wildcard virus?

Anyone read about the Wildcard virus?

Postby YerK » Fri Mar 06, 2015 10:47 pm

A buddy of mine in Texas has been telling me about a role play game "Wild Cards" campaign.

If any of you are RPGers and know about the Wild Card virus (fictional) from the books, let me know, please. :-) I have a buddy who is trying to get in as a writer for this.

Wild Cards has been around a long time now. I lost track, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were 20 books by now. It's a great world with some amazing characters. The world was co-created by George RR Martin of Game of Thrones fame. I love those books, some of the most creative superpowered fiction out there. And I say that as someone who not only had read comics for decades, but writes super stories myself.

The buddy that was writing the book told me about how characters would go through this disease and most would die, while some would go through a transformation. I then came up with a character for him that I would love to type about here. I'm waiting to hear that his story got published before I tell about the character, though.
