Not even done and already better than half the Star Trek movies that have come out during my life. Is it going to be free? If not no biggie I'd pay to watch this.

Yes, but when the next Kickstarters comes up, if you can donate, do. It can get you some perks like access to goodies, patches, blu-ray editons, etc. And the satisfaction of helping fund a Trek movie that already looks better than anything the 'real' studio is doing
