The new series looks like if you were awake when Rick was in the coma. No one knows anything. Kill them? Just makes more. No one has figured out the head shot thing yet. Does explain why things collapsed like wet sandcastle

The problem with the zombies in Walking Dead is that they're self activating, there is no patient zero. Anybody with the virus who dies turns into a zombie, and in a large city like LA you probably lose at least a hundred people a day just to random shit, heart attacks, car accidents, etc. So the guy who drops dead in the park from a stroke gets up and starts biting people, and the guy who got hit by a car in the Walmart parking lot starts biting people, and so on, and so on.....it pops up everywhere simultaneously, emergency services get overwhelmed, then everybody panics and tries to GTFO leading to more deaths due to violence and riots which causes more zombies......yea, this is why I would never live in a major urban center.

And we just saw an EMS guy get croaked by his "dead" patient. The speed of infection, and that woman "got her shot" makes me think this was an bioweapon test that went so far off the fucking plot they didn't have time to check with Magellan. Maybe we'll learn more, that alone would be cool. Other than one ep closing out S1 they never have gotten into Tech tech stuff
