Great Movie Mud Scenes (from General Discussion)

Postby dougiezerts » Tue Apr 21, 2009 1:00 am

Just a starter list, you all can add more!:
MUDDLED IN MUD AKA A MUDDY ROMANCE Silent star Mabel Normand wallows in mud along with the Keystone Kops. A classic!
NO TIME FOR LOVE Claudett Colbert, Fred McMurray, and a group of guys wallow in thick mud. Possibly the best mud scene ever filmed by Hollywood!
THE SILENCERS Stella Stevens wallows in mud. Hard to tell if this, or the above movie, is the best!
SEE NO EVIL Blind girl Mia Farrow wallows in mud--barefooted!
POLTERGEIST JonaBeth Williams wallows in mud along with some corpses. There's a couple nice cose-ups of her feet, in this scene!

There is a nice big list of scenes here, assembled by Crypto. This list is version #26, from Nov 24'th, 2005. Enjoy. 8-)

Is there any conventional procedure to give Crypto suggestions for updating his list?

Say, I've seen at least two scenes in Austrian series "Kommissar Rex" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inspector_Rex
There’s so many different worlds
So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones

I can't speak for Crypto but I think I can give a general answer.

First, so far as I understand it, Crypto's List is for quicksand scenes. That might be broadly interpreted but it isn't for everything involving mud. Crypto please correct me if I am incorrect in this.

Second, the information needed is that found in the listings in the list: Title, subtitles or alternate titles, if any, description of the scene, year of release, if known, and the like. The language spoken would be a good item to include also.
