Another trailer tonight on Monday Night Football, see what if any new reveals there are. There's bound to be some, they been teasing it all afternoon here. And this is where in a normal 'verse, you'd have the Trailer 2 full size one released.

They're not giving anything away that's for sure. I'm still avoiding any/all "spoilers" because I don't want any preconceptions following me to the theater. It's all bullshit speculation anyway.

Since JJ likes to sneak things in the background, I have this wish we'll see the stuffed corpse of Jar-Jar standing in some dusty corner...

One thing that does stand out, and I only note it because it's who's saying it, is the idea that all this has been lost somehow. Since when did Han Solo become the font of all knowledge? About the Jedi for crying out loud even?? You remember Han, don't you folks?

There is a lot of good though; the semi-transparent TIE wings are an interesting touch; the X-Wing coming in at 1:34 and blasting that TIE out of the sky was a moment for all us X-Wing fans of pure ownage

It's been 30 years in their universe too. People change. Hell 10 years ago my opinions on a lot of things were different, I'm not married to someone who could levitate me when I pissed her off......

Except Leia doesn't look like a Jedi. And where the hell is Luke?? The longer that this numb-nuts lensflare boy futzes around with this , the worse it gets. The whole time span is stupid alone, having Luke somehow go off and be fucking Yoda or Ben in exile is likely the stupidiest possible idea any imbecile "writer" could think up. And some of the other stuff I wont mention?? Lets just say I be lo -end. There be a ton of people wanting to tear fucking JJ's windpipe out and use it for a whistle. Engineering a premise to fit a dumb story idea is literally doing your story planning upside-down. And so far the only thing I've gotten is "oh, you old fans are just wrong, and and and SHUT UP! we explained" Yeah. Right. Some things dont need fixing. Other things are bone fucking stupid and always will be
