I've flushed movements with more substance than this one. They won't last long.

This is what happens, after decades of telling the special snowflakes they are all so precious, and everyone gets a trophy!

Unfortunately, the Real Fucking World (tm) tends to crush skulls to powder about that fucking lie
You're not special
You're not precious
And you JUST don't fucking matter that much
At ALL

I paid out the ass for a BA in Feng Shuy but Oprah didn't call and offer me a cool million to rearrange her furniture. Now I'm poor and mad because it's all somebody else's fault.

I place most of the blame on subsidies. Somebody somewhere (aka the government, with your tax dollars) is stupid enough to give an 18 year old kid a $100,000 loan, so the market charges what the market will bear and now college costs $100,000. That and the ridiculous amount of brain washing that goes on in the pube lick school system about how if you get a degree (any degree really, just pick one they'll just fill out your name on the paper at the end dear) you'll instantly be hired for a high paying executive job right out of school and you'll pay off those silly little loans in no time.

Given the butchery in France, it's like the prog retard machine reached the singularity and imploded all at once.

The cleanup will be a motherfucker

In some ways, I feel the same way. There are too many births. China once limited how many people could be born per family to one person. More people equals more demand, and nobody wins. Special snowflakes exactly. More like special raindrops. And how many fucking drops are there when it rains? (The reality of reality) And when nobody cares, why do we care to make them think we care?
There are quite a few blue collar trade jobs that don't require a serious college degree and still have decent pay. I didn't take this path. My college was paid for by inherited money.
I have a college degree (BA) and I am relatively successful, the job I have now required a few years of experience AFTER college ($80-90K/yr before taxes). Work your ass off in college, you still gotta work your ass off to get the job, work your ass off on that job to pay off the loans, and then work your ass off for decades to save back the money, and it will probably stomp on your dreams. Does the fact that that I'm through all this shit make me special? No. I'm still just a nerdy redneck. There are millions of nerds and millions of rednecks. Another thing is the 700 grand remaining in the trust fund from my dead grandfather. That money comes little by little ($20K/yr), I don't have to work for it. But my grandfather was one of the most important people in my life and I loved him very much, I would rather him still be around more than anything. Not that anybody gives a shit.
Now, back when I was in high school, when I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, I would have been pissed off by this. I was the kind of a social justice warrior. I would get very pissed off at prejudice dumbfucks, “Fucking sperg fagtard no one likes you” “you think you're so special, don't you?” I was treated differently by ignorant people who found out my condition, and I was getting special services in school that I didn't deserve.
This whole “baby” thing in a way makes sense, as typically babies tend to think of themselves and themselves only. When someone gets special treatment, they might think that way again. We do not want this at all. Many college students might not be thinking about who is paying for them to be in college. The blood sweat and tears that school causes makes students think that they should be paid to put up with it, not paying for it.
I could go on and on. My social skills suck and I don't think I made this very relevant, I am probably not making any sense.

...well there's this grumpy Canadian sailor who appears to be a bit put out with children of undue privilege. ;)

I think it might make more sense to see it as less of an argument than as a bunch of old men sitting around the stove in the general store.

Basically a bunch of entitled brats are staging protests (the nice term for riots) because apparently they deserve free college because reasons. Normally wouldn't be anything newsworthy but the media needed some ratings.
