SIG P220 Elite 10mm I don't see much use for 10mm, certainly not in Canada unless you want to blow big holes in targets, or just in case of the apocolypse :D But it sure is a handsome piece. SIG doesn't make crappy stuff

DP-12 Shotgun Another space gun shotgun :) but eh, some folks wouldn't mind it. Bullpup though, and that ejection system I can see being a pain in the ass over time

Bulgarian Makarov For those too cheap to buy a Glock or a Walther :D

Glock 19 Revisited Set the TARDIS and lets go take another look at the most popular Glock :)

Remington Rand WWII 1911 Ch 2 And while doing that, lets have another take here , too

Got to fondle the DP-12 last gun show I went to. Biggest con is weight, feels like you're carrying 2 AK's duct taped together. Slightly longer and wider than my KSG so slightly less agile.
BUT.....you get the super quick follow-up shot of a side by side AND the super quick reloading of a pump.....in one package. That holds 14+2 shells. And it's built well. AND, to top it all off, it looks like something super badass out of the new Doom Video game. I don't regret buying the KSG......but I do regret not having the cash to buy this too. 8-)

Weapons like the DP-12 always make me wonder how you're supposed to run with a backpack full of ammo for the thing. And if you don't have enough ammo to support the weapon then why not just settle for something simpler? Maybe if I was clearing a trench a something but I can't see ever needing more than my Mossberg and a load of shells on the belt. If that's not enough then you'll just have to catch me.

I think you can file a lot of these exotics under the heading "but it looks so cool!"

Eg - designed by someone who hasn't got a clue about designing a practical weapon for use in the field. Especially since the basic load for an infantryman hasn't changed much in 70 years. And it's not going to, if not get heavier with more gadgets and armour

Yea, wouldn't want to have to carry that beast on a 10 mile hike.
What would be great is if somebody took the downward ejecting bullpup design and put just one barrel and one tube on it. I love my KSG not for the ammo capacity (although I'm not complaining about it) but for the form factor. It's a street legal 26 inch long shotgun with a stock, you can walk through a doorway without lowering it.

That bit about the KSG and this beast is what makes them potentially useful for special operations and house clearing missions. For humping up and down hills and mountains all day? Not as much. Plus too, the details always matter. Its nothing new, but a sniper sees someone with something unusual, and that gets noticed, and very likely, gets shot. Its no different than shoot the Machine Gunner, or Grenadier, etc etc. Why you dont salute or stand out for the same reason. (That bit came up in discussion with some lunatic SW types, when I pointed out their 'cool' Captain Phasma, in all-chrome armour, and a woman no less even if masked, is a target that literally screams KILL ME!!!! :D That, is not the sort of thing you want in range of enemy weapons. It's not like Vader, who can take care of himself, and likely kill YOU. But whatever... :P )

I can do without exotic... give me functional. I used the Mossie 590 in the Army... and owned a civ Mossie 500ATP many years ago. I'll go with what I know! We issued the 590s to our gunners that were on the off base patrols... Nothing says "get the fuck off my truck" like a 12 gauge staring you in the face.

The mere fact that the Mossberg can mount a bayonet increases it's badass factor to 11 just by itself
