One person's trash...

...Is another person's Taz!

This lovely Taz plush was going to get thrown out, but instead he was brought home in case I wanted him. Of course I wanted him! I was so happy and giddy with excitement when I first laid eyes on him! When I was a little kid, I had a cute little Taz plush that I loved and took places. I have no idea what happened to him, but I'd say this one is an upgrade!

I still want a Sylvester plush!

Awww! He's cute!

I too have a few plushies. I keep them in easy grabbing reach when I'm working at home in the mornings.

I have a little dachshund plushie that really barks if you squeeze its middle. I keep thinking the battery should be wearing out but it's been a longgggg time and it's still yipping at me.

Were you ever able to go back and get that stuffed Tyrannosaurus you posted about a while back?

Sadly, I wasn't able to get him. By the time I could afford him, he was gone. :(

I have too many plushies! When I move out, I suspect I'll have a room full of them! I just can't say no to cute! My plushies are like children to me. I'm always hugging and kissing on them despite my age!

Speaking of cute plushies that bark when you squeeze them. When I was little, back when 101 Dalmatians was popular, my sister and I got barking Two-Tone plushies for Christmas from "Santa"! He was my favorite stuffed animal! I replaced him when I got to college since I had to throw him away at one point in time.

It's nice to see others enjoy toys and/or plushies as much as I do!

The only plushie I have is an old stuffed tiger cub with its nose missing. It's a memento of my dearly departed great-grandmother.

Decades ago, when I was young, I used to have a large, blue French poodle that I loved. It was given away ages ago. For years, I have had a smaller brown dog named "Rowdy", which barked when you squeezed its stomach. I think it has a "squeeze-toy" type of mechanism inside, but it stopped working long ago. We still have "Rowdy", and my niece sometimes plays with it. My brother had a plush lion that he called "Teddy", and I think it is still around.

But, while they are far from "plushy", I do have a couple of stone dragons who are real characters, and greet people near our doorstep during the spring and summer months. Meet "Rexy" and "Grinsey", who are posing together for this picture:

I have three very old plushies -- two horses and a zebra -- and they will never leave me because my great-grandmother made them.

They're not really that soft, though. I think one of them is stuffed with sawdust! Whatever's in it is rather crunchy.
