Cool, I was in the market for something light to read! And $6 is certainly reasonable.

Eh, what the hell....can't be any worse than most of the zombie apocalypse novels I buy.

Going to have to grab this one! Nothing like reading this sort of thing when home alone on a dark, stormy October night.

I took my time reading this. I like collections of stories, they allow for leisurely consumption. Something to look forward to, a nice way to wind down after the day. Now, a month later, I'm sad to see it end.

I enjoyed most of the stories quite a bit. There were many representations of the best traditions of Lovecraft, and only a few of the worst. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan, but Lovecraft could get so damned wordy! A few authors captured that linguistic torture annoyingly well.

I enjoyed this enough that I went and picked up Salome's first Cthulhu collection. Turns out, it has a story by an author named Lomax!

Having finished both Cthulhu Lives and Cthulhu Lies Dreaming, I can say I really enjoyed both collections. And the contributions by G.K.Lomax are, of course, highlights of each! The electronic editions are quite affordable. If you are a fan of Lovecraft, or of the Cthulhu mythos, or of weird horror in general, skip your next craft brew and spend those pennies instead on these eldritch tomes.
