The Iowas might have always had that battleship-thing going for them, but the ROF on these babies were serious firepower, and no enemy would live long under that heavy and rate of bombardment . Serious Metal going downrange :twisted:

Dad made a reserve cruise on Salem's sister ship, USS Newport News. That was the very last big gun cruiser in the USN.
