You've probably see the part of The Longest Day devoted to it, but this is the first time it gets a complete movie on its own. In some of the historical mind-bending only possible in reality, Richard Todd, was actually part of the assault on D-Day here; he later was in the Longest Day, but playing Major Howard. And now we have a young actor playing Richard Todd again here
