Agree this is something that needs to be done in small increments but not with the overall drone hate. It's a sound concept that with a little R & D can be implemented in a variety of roles just like the article says.
The most important component of any weapon system is the part that wears the uniform. Keeping said component away from the stuff that's blowing up is good.
