Finally, after years of planning and hoping and not being stupid about credit, I have my first full-size tractor. :D
Took a lot of looking to find exactly what I wanted at a price I wanted to pay.

She's a beauty. 1964 Massey Ferguson model 35. A retired gentleman found her sitting in a field. He put a lot of work into her, worked her for a few years, and is selling her to make room for a new restoration. With the modifications he made, she's actually a better tractor than when brand-new.
I even got a 4' brush cutter as part of the deal. Rusty, dented- but the blades are sharp, the oil in the gearbox has been changed, and a couple of welds were strengthened.

Ive removed my shirt in salute, and the hairs on my chest are growing just looking at it. Behold, I grunt in manly approval!

Nice. My grandfather had the same hobby, he'd buy some decrepit pile of rust with racoons living in the engine compartment and a year later it'd be shiny and running. It's amazing how far gone they can look and still be brought back.

Nice indeed :) don't kill yourself while having fun ;)

And, as long as it's Tractor-related check out This thing :D

You know, Brian Daley wrote about things like this 35 years ago, but that was on Orron III in the Corporate Sector, and Solo was using one for cover from some Bad Guys :D Still, sci fi meets reality. This is what the 21st Century REALLY supposed to be
