I don't know if I actually saw the show when it originally aired, but I know that the re-runs seemed very believable. So, I understand what you mean.

Only years later did I understand the camp involved in the show - and how brilliant Adam West was in delivering all of it so 'straight'.

(Ok, I admit, something did seem odd about how he and Robin were able to climb the sides of buildings so effortlessly. Hehe)

RIP Adam West. You were one of a kind.

You may be gone, but your legend will live on...

Batman was his defining role, but on Family Guy he showed his willingness not to take himself too seriously... a class act

One of the best supporting characters on Family Guy......RIP Adam.

Ironically, in one of the episodes, he was a ghost.
