Has anyone dealt with wish.com?

No political or religious topics please. Otherwise, anything goes, as long as we treat each other with respect.

Has anyone dealt with wish.com?

Postby Fred588 » Tue Sep 12, 2017 10:44 am

I have had one person contact me about ordering things from wish.com. I have also seen some very negative reviews of them. This is just to ask if anyone here has done business with that company and, if so, your feedback. Feedback may be sent directly to Fred588@gmail.com if you would prefer

Have not used them but the fact that I can't even get into the site without creating an account makes me uncomfortable.

Apparently it's a supplier-direct service based in China.....so anything you buy on there will be a roll of the dice. You might get Amazon like service or you might get scammed, or it might take 3 monts to get the thing that they promise you will "super fast ship next day!!!".
Personally I'd pass.

Dozens, if not hundreds, of packages from wish.com find their way to my home every year. They come in waves, roughly corresponding with bouts of insomnia on the part of my SO. Since the average cost per package is less than $3 (and that includes shipping from China) I don't really have an issue with it. We are very will stocked with knick-knacks and wotnots.
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

In fairness, I went ahead and opened an account. The only info they asked for was my email address. Fair enough. I now get about three email messages a day from them.

I haven't personally, but my sister has. Shipping is SLOW...but she got everything she has purchased it. Just don't expect next day shipping...Fidget spinners and cubes took about 3 months for delivery
