Interesting how Don Malarkey and the guy who played him in Band of Brothers (Scott Grimes) are both featured prominently in threads in this forum.

There's shots of the two of them together too; apparently Scott Grimes became good friends with Don during the filming of BoB
History is a funny duck too; from the very beginning, Don was in the thick of things, AND doing stuff both heroic and crazy (the Assault on Brecourt Manor on D-Day, and in his haste to get a Luger for his little brother, almost getting his ass shot off
