And indeed, Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Gonna enjoy some turkey at my cousin’s place, be thankful for a full belly, and pray for all those who struggle to get even one meal a day...

It may be a good thing to reflect on the real story behind the event that gets credited with being the first Thanksgiving, admitting it was not called that for more than 240 years. There was one group of people who were struggling to survive after having arrived a year earlier in a new land, and having already lost a major portion of their original rather small number. Then there was another very small group of people who a few years earlier had seen something like 90 percent of their population wiped out by a disease. Both groups were outnumbered and under threat from a third group of people. The two groups feared each other. They spoke very different languages. They were of different races, religions, and culture. Divided both groups would likely be extinct quite soon. But instead of fighting each other they helped each other. And they both survived.
