Is there a way to print my conversation history from the new yahoo messenger?

...Or a way to email the conversation history to myself?
I have an online friend that I've know for a little over three years. Our only method of communicating with each other is through Yahoo Messenger and a huge chunk of our relationship is contained in the new Yahoo Messenger.
I was able to easily archive our conversation history back when the old Yahoo Messenger was still around, but after playing around with the desktop version of the New Messenger, I see no options to print, export, or email our conversations. I know our conversation is automatically saved in the app, but I don't trust that it will be saved forever. Also, the app doesn't make it easy to re-read our old conversations. I have to scroll up to find a conversation from a specific day, which is is very difficult and time consuming when dealing with a year's worth of history.
Is there any way for me to print, export, and/or email the chat history to myself? If it's not possible through the desktop app (which I don't think it is), is there another way?
