Here is a trivia question or puzzle. One hint is that this is not ENTIRELY off topic.

The longest-serving companion of the doctor in Dr Who, so far, was Clara. One of the names she was known by was Oswin Oswald. The puzzle is: Why would a quicksand scene featuring Oswin Oswald be particularly appropriate. [That she is a beautiful woman is true but is not the answer.]

Hint: Answering this will be aided by using a "device" that producer Stephen Moffet liked to use.

Hint2: Moffet is known for using anagrams.

It was simple enough once the idea of anagrams is suggested. It is suggested, pretty obviously, by the fact that the character had three different names on the show plus the well-known fact that Steven Moffet has used anagrams as code words for forthcoming actresses and actors on the show. After that there are websites that will automatically generate all possible anagrams of any series of letters that one enters. That what I used, with the final step being to simply scane the generated list of anagrams.

Most "cleverness" is faked anyway. I have a solved Rubik's cube but I solved it following instructions from a website.
