Hurricane Evacuations?

I think the distance is such that no one will take advantage of this but if there is anyone here planning to evacuate from Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina due to the approaching hurricane, there will be some accommodation possible at Studio 588. Just email but do it while the power is still on.

This one is currently predicted to be a category 4. In terms of wind and potential storm surge that is WORSE the Katrina. Take this one seriously and get out of the way. If not, saying good-bye now would not be unreasonable.

That's a very honorable offer, Fred.

The number of people being to told to evacuate is about 1 million. There are not that many hotel rooms anywhere, even at five or six to a room.

I could take someone in, but I'm on the other coast. You'd have to be cat friendly and tolerant of my odd, morning-person like habits.

Major emergencies happen in your area too. And they could happen here. For example, the New Madrid fault is only about 250 miles from here.

Indeed they do. You are a good person, sir.
