A QS version of Hangman?!

Postby undergrain1 » Tue Mar 16, 2010 12:31 am

I had a thought. There's that drawing game, Hangman, where you draw more and more of a person on a gallows as they miss on guesses of what letters are in your hidden word or short phrase. I wonder how it could be done where the person is sinking in quicksand?! Perhaps you just draw the person, no gallows, and the third and second last things you draw are the person's arms stretched upward, and the last thing you draw is the surface of the mud (anywhere from the hairline up!). So, if the guessing player does not uncover the hidden letters or guess the word in time, the person is "sunk" (and you could write "blub-blub-blub-hissss").

Does anyone else have any ideas on the format and structure of such a game? And any ideas for a short, sweet name for it?!

This subject was brought up at Deep Sinking, and Toby Robin O'Keefe made an actual game, with the victim(s) being mud scouts, with your choice of gender. But, its availability is unknown. :?
I sink, therefore I WAM!!!!

Start with the person and then erase portions, starting with the feet. Or, add in the qs,from the bottom up?
